My favourite, for reasons our old Cruxers and girls on the Cross
know only too well!
A lot of these images, indeed I'd say the majority,
are familiar, it would make a good non-Christmas-Quiz to see who can identify most
(my money's on Admi )
But they've been intriguingly 're-worked', in generally quite effective ways,
giving them a sort of painterly, impressionist quality
that helps me see them afresh
(and some have been cropped or -
as in the case of "me" above -
turned around from left to right)
