It is the question if the crucifixion of females is considered as provocation, as far as I see is that not the crucifixion per se is the problem with Jesus, but that with his crucifixion a completely innocent person was crucified and the gender is less a problem. I see it even worser, that the nude crucifixion of a "circumsized" person was a problem, while a nude female on the cross probably is nice, but not provoking. Do not forget we often see nude females in movies, or TV, but seldom a nude male. On the other hand in some and our society nudity of females are a provocation, per se.

Yes because for some reason male genitals are a no no on screen for many people. But if you look at a lot of real life situations men are more likely to appear nude in public than women. Look at university hazing pics, nude beach pics etc. Even here most self cruxers are male.

that is true, also seen personally. I go early swimming at the lake and when I meet a couple there, mostly the male is nude and the female has a swimming dress or is at least dressed in the lower part. There, it is even unhealthy, since females should not walk around with nude bathing dresses due to the danger of infections

While for male (I call it better construction, since I am a creationist) that is not so much a problem. Btw, my mother knew that problem to, she always had two bathing dresses when we went to the pool and runned to the changing cabin as soon she saw a drop of water on her dress. I still also have two bathing trunks (a red and a black speedo), I just never wear it. For @Loinclothslave, when I ever get crucified, I willl be the one with the two loincloths, but don't wear them.

It is one of the riddle I don't understand, that females do not present them naked.

But what does it implies for the cruiixion, ti at least implies that the humiliation aspect is not so important. However, I have the opinion, that the male exhibitionism is a somewhat modern aspects. Jews in the ancient times were afraid to show the circumsized penis and do not forget the shock of the romans when attacked by blue painted nude celts. If the development of society would be linear we would also experience more nude females in public or as self-cruciied members here. So we left with our many brave nude males.... Unfortunately for the heterosexual males here.
 
Growing up in a wilderness area, it was dead common to go skinny dipping with my dad or with my (very heterosexual, often homophobic) mates. The girls rarely went in nude, often they might have some Cossies with them or strip to underwear… the boys went nude, and I didn’t like to be nude, usually bringing my own cossies.

It’s funny how our mind and aversions work. My parents were total nudists at home, especially in our hot summer, but I always preferred to be dressed, no I didn’t wear loincloth around them either…

If a psychologist looked at this about me they probably decide that I’m strange or weird…

At the moment I experience quite different situations. Last year I went skinny dipping and my dog (It has to be said he is rather huge....) and a younger female was starting to play with him, so I decided better to check that out and seen to be nude than to risk a bite. We then talked about 10 minutes, it turned out she was a russian tourist, me standing nude next to her. Quite strange situation, probably as tourist she didn't wanted to interfere with the swiss traditional exhibitionist rituals.

I would guess, today all is chaotic and as I mentionend without logic.
