my noble status

2016-04-18-22-13-55.jpg

I hope you don't feel bothered by me ...
staring a bit again? ...
I heard that, behind me.
They dragged up my cross onto that platform.
My moment too is so close now...

And yes I'm afraid, even though I understand very well, that as crucifixions go...
this one begins rather mercifully.

That's how it starts...
because the footrest, and the way the ropes carry much of our weight...
just means we suffer longer.

Not breaking us, not discarding us...
not before the last amount of pain has been wrung out of our bodies.
Distilling out of us the essence of our ending, and only then we drop.

And yes we will complain that the heat makes us thirst -- probably they'll water us;
and we will complain that the sun makes us burn - me more so than you -- probably they'll laugh at us...

Your noble status.
And maybe it's because I'm going crazy before this cross on the hill, crazy from what's happening, and I do feel a little lightheaded and dizzy, and kneeling is a good idea because I might just lose my balance, every which way -- but now I find it's true, it's beautiful, it's noble; noble to make this sacrifice and beautiful to be able to give it; and so, in my last moments, I tenderly worship,

often thirsty...
sweet ...
thirsty, sweet, high,... my high in the art of suffering one.

In the spirit of Arcimboldo's 'lente' - when her feet are nailed,
they'll leave her, let her get used to the helplessness and the agony...

another very fine image, Hasturan

Oh goddess this story!
Kiss her sweet feet
Love will ease her suffering.
But now it is your turn!

Only in nightmare your deepest dreams come true...
Uaah-aaaaoooouuuuuhhh owww oww oww uuuuhhhuh.
That was sharp and good. It's true, it doesn't break the bones.
But God it hurts. And I can feel how the pain's growing as the sweilling around the nail starts and it throbs inside my foot.
I shake my head against an attack of nausea from that ugly sense of the presence of that foreign object Otherwise... keep that foot as still as possible. Thank God for the tight binding.
It's just about bearable for now because there's no weight on it yet.
Must be ready for the next blow, breathe in deep, another scream from deep within will help with it...
