Another labour of love from Bob here for Alice's birthday. She may have moved on to other things in life, I suppose, and is hopefully doing well, but here she's immortal (or perhaps she's more mortal over and over again ;) ). Anyway, she's beautifully situated in a ballroom and, as usual, outshines the beauty of her surroundings despite her own personal lack of extra adornments. You know when Bob makes it look this simple, it isn't.

Happy Birthday, Alice!

Alice is a pure Jewel of Nature.
and she's very courageous : remember her Crux session : no tears, no screams, despite the terrible pain she felt on the Makar's holly Crux !
Remember the way she "passed out" after the struggle to get a better position ....impossible better position because the Crux is designed to provide suffering whatever the slave tries to decrease it.....

:) Happy Birthday Alice :)

In this year's birthday picture, Alice makes an appearance in the Mirror Gallery at Kuskovo. The idea of posing nude inside the ornate interior of this country house is a fantasy, although Alice really did pose for a session with Alexey Bessarab in Kuskovo Park, and the house can be seen in the background. Since her visit might plausibly have included the museum, I decided it would only require a small stretch of the imagination to place her inside the building. :)

I am indebted to my friend and fellow photo manipulator, @mvalim , for his assistance in identifying the location of the session photographed by Alexey Bessarab. In previous years we have celebrated Alice's birthday by revisiting the sites of her photo shoots from 2007. We have looked at some recognisable features in the Crimea, but many of her series provide no clues to identify the locations.

The exceptions are 'Alis Set 1' and 'Emerald World', which contain some pictures showing a large, classical building in the background. I reasoned that this would be in Alice's home town of Moscow, but I thought I was looking for a riverside property. When I consulted mvalim, he observed that Moscow's rivers are either lined with stone embankments or they are directed to flow underground. Realising that Bessarab's pictures did not depict a river, he subsequently identified the location as Kuskovo Park, set in the East District of Moscow, about ten miles from the Kremlin. What I had assumed to be a river is in fact a lake.

Kuskovo was the summer country house and estate of the Sheremetev family. Built in the mid-18th century, it was one of the first great country estates of the Russian nobility, and one of the few near Moscow which has been preserved. Today the estate is the home of the Russian State Museum of Ceramics, and the park is a favourite place of recreation for Muscovites.

Alice's session with Alexey Bessarab yielded three series: two for Amour Angels ('Adorable' and 'Emerald World') and one for Domai ('Alis Set 1'). 'Adorable' was published on 29 June 2008, a year after shooting, the Domai series was released on 28 January 2009, and 'Emerald World' appeared following an interval of three years, on 5 August 2010. Unfortunately I have no camera data for Alexey Bessarab, but it is reasonable to assume that he shot the three series on the same day in 2007, on the south side of the lake in Kuskovo Park, and the abundant foliage is indicative of summertime.

Apparently May 13, 1988 was also a Friday the 13th. Apparently it didn't hurt her career. I hope she has been compensated to the level her performance deserves.

Coincidentally, I also appear to have done an Alice manip, just in time for her birthday. This is from the "Alice Amber" series (so named for the amber necklace she wears, as well as the colour tone of the original series. The manip has 15 visible layers and a number of additional lighting and colour adjustments, as well as shadow work.

Alice appears to have run afoul of some people who don't mean well. This is one of those "pre-crux" moments. There's still a chance that bad things won't happen, but I like the sense of anticipation and foreboding as Alice is settled on her cross. Is she embracing her fate? What goes through the mind of the large bald fellow? Are the watchers sympathetic or are they just here for the spectacle?

I hope Alice's real birthday has gone better than it seems to be going for her character here. :)

Nonsense. Gentle Reader, he has her birthday circled in red on his calendar. ;)

How else could he have come up with such a stunning manip? :)

Oh, to be 34 again!!! Many more, Alice!
So difficult to find new poses of Alice , once I a while I search for more with no results . I've noticed on Vipergirls many pictures are being removed . I don't trust the sharing apps that I think have many views not otherwise available . Always I am impressed with your knowledge a n post . Good stuff bob ...
Alexsey did a fine job of showing off Alice in a natural environment. :)

However, the use of large, empty palatial rooms as a setting for human grace and beauty is a favourite device of artists such as the Vienna State Ballet:

Since you cannot get more graceful and beautiful than Alice, I'm truly delighted that you've done the same, Bob!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALICE!

Bob this is superb work. Alice is a goddess and she is our goddess. You do her beautiful body and radiant smile justice my friend. Thank you ...

Many thanks to everybody for your kind comments in celebration of Alice's birthday! I empathise with @GoatJr 's regrets that there are not more series available. Remarkably, there are a number of pictures which I have not yet seen, and so the search continues. :)

@Frank Petrexa 's comment about Friday 13th is intriguing. As for Alice's career, like many young Russian girls, she registered with a modelling agency for part-time work during the first half of 2007. She worked with some high profile photographers, and received the normal rates of pay. Makar noted that this was not particularly high, and he booked her for three hours during which she worked significantly harder than in a regular glamour shoot. Alexey Bessarab would easily have taken sufficient pictures for his three published series in a one-hour session at Kuskovo.

Putting the matters of career and remuneration in perspective, Alice's fifty nude series and videos were produced by eight photographers, over a period of six months, during which she spent approximately 24 hours naked in front of the cameras. Her popularity on CF is largely due to a single session for Cruxdreams and the resulting appeal and impact on the imaginations of photo manipulation artists. Admittedly, I made a few of those manips. :D

Mine you, you had an excellent subject to work on!

Happy birthday Alice, wherever you are.

Remember the way she "passed out" after the struggle to get a better position ....impossible better position because the Crux is designed to provide suffering whatever the slave tries to decrease it.....
Impossible better position because the Crux is designed to provide suffering whatever the slave tries to decrease it :
-does she want to relief her arms ? So, it's possible but after a while, she begins to feel suffocation... She has to change position,
-does she want to breathe more easily ? So, she has to put on her legs and help herself with her arms..... And the pain in the arms begins again....
The endlessly cycle....the dance on the cross !

And moreover, every time the slave acts her legs, she will be humiliated because she has to spread her thighs and show her intimacy : the vulva
And maybe if she has little inner lips, everyone will be able to glimpse the vagina hole... Everyone will instantly know if they watch a virgin woman who never gives her body to a male, or if she's a woman used to do intercourse and welcome penis in her fertile belly.

Among all tortures and of course the BDSM (not irreversible) we love invented by mankind, Cross is "THE" ordeal !

Amber Rigin cf Jollyrei AliceAmber1c.jpg

Thanks for this latest contribution, Jolly. This is a fine example of the type of pre-crux theme which has become one of your specialities. The title suggests that you were inspired by the pose from Rigin's 'Amber' series. A comparison with the source demonstrates how you have developed the strong chiaroscuro of the figure throughout the rest of the scene. The lighting direction is consistent and suitably dense shadows have been burned into the timber and on the ground.

What makes this pose a particularly good choice is the manner in which Alice's head is turned fully away from the impending action. She avoids the sight of the executioner and those foreboding nails, which can have only one purpose in a scene such as this. The elevated viewpoint allows us to imagine the figure already crucified above the heads of those present. Every detail plays a part in the narrative concept, including the sedile, ominously positioned between the posterior and heels.

The composition is completed with the shackled feet of another prisoner, indicating that the action is placed firmly on the ground, at least for the moment. Thus we experience a sense of anticipation as we peer over the assembled crowd. Congratulations on the productiion of a tense and engaging image! :)

Happy Birthday, Alice!

Thanks for your comments, Jolly. For those who are interested in how the illusion is created, the manipulation combines a figure of Alice with a new background showing the Mirror Gallery at Kuskovo. Alice was sourced from Peter Chupurov's outdoor series, 'Calmness' for Amour Angels. Since I intended to place Alice inside the palace, it was important to avoid a figure photographed in direct sunlight. 'Calmness' was photographed in soft, evening light, and some of the pictures were taken without flash. The pose was selected with these considerations in mind, and the figure has been inserted with minimal colour and contrast adjustments.

Calmness-23 cf Mirror Gallery Kuskovo.jpg

Because Alice's feet are partly obscured by blades of grass, they had to be reconstructed. This would not be such a problem if we were placing the figure into another outdoor scene with grass, but since there is no matching grass in the gallery, she needs to stand convincingly on the inlaid wooden floor. The left foot was sourced from another image in the same series, and a shadow cast by the right ankle was applied across the top of the new foot. To obtain accurate orientation, the toes of the right foot were painted manually, using a separate layer to facilitate any corrections. Such treatment qualifies Alice as a composite figure.

The background image is lit via the large windows on the left, and the light is reflected from the numerous mirrors. Since Alice was intended to occupy the foreground, it was easy to avoid the need to place her reflection in any of the mirrors (this would have required a standing rear view and I don't think there are any suitable ones of Alice). The gallery image was in fairly high contrast, which shows up the details effectively, but this would have overwhelmed the new figure.

Reducing the contrast of a background is straightforward, but because I wanted Alice's feet to appear firmly planted on the floor, I needed to preserve the contrast in the lower part of the image. The solution is to insert a vertical gradient filter, which reduces the contrast at the top, and gradually reveals more contrast toward the bottom of the image. Because the effect is gradual, it is not obvious. A second, horizontal gradient was applied to the newly created shadow cast by Alice on the floor, allowing it to fade out naturally towards the lower right corner.

The Mirror Gallery at Kuskovo background.jpg

An important consideration when inserting a figure into a scene is the question of scale. The background contains no human elements, and all that we can conclude is that for a domestic interior, it is very large. We can calculate the 'eye level' of the camera by extending the converging lines of the edges of the floor and ceiling until they meet in a hypothetical vanishing point. This indicates an artificial horizon, and frequently we can obtain a convincing effect by placing the eyes of a new figure at that level.

However, it is also important to examine the source image prior to extracting the figure, because this will reveal clues about the camera 'eye level' and horizon, which can be translated into the new scene. Reference to the 'Calmness' picture shows that Alice's head appears above the horizon because Chupurov has aimed his camera on a level between her breasts and shoulders. By placing this part of the figure over the artificial horizon of the Mirror Gallery, Alice should appear to be in scale with her surroundings. Rather than reduce the size of the figure, I enlarged the background by 140%, using approximately half of the original image in the manipulation.

And so 'The Mirror Gallery at Kuskovo' contains fifteen visible layers, including two gradient fades, five layer masks and five blending filters. Thanks to everyone for the positive responses. :)

Alice birthday 2022.jpg

Who of us will be crucified in first this year ?
Perhaps together ?
What Bob is thinking ?
Thank you, Messa, for your charming manipulation to celebrate Alice's birthday. As in your previous manips, Iveta takes the role of your character. Alice is derived from her delightful 'hide and seek' portrait in 'Alis Set 1'. Occasionally I wonder if Alexey Bessarab still has sufficient unseen material to publish 'Set 2'? Your latest picture reminds me of your 'Castle Kranichfeld' manip from last year, which features the same characters and in Alice's case, the same pose.

Messa Castle Kranichfeld window 1a.jpg

Meanwhile, your caption is intriguing - 'What is Bob thinking?'
I think I am being reminded that a new crux manip may be overdue... :D

Hi Falco, she has become very popular with manip artists, but it looks very much as if you have photographed her.
There is something unreal about the item in her hands which does not cast a shadow, but the physical details appear authentic.
Do you have more pictures like this? :)
Yes, I photographed her. It seems that only once - I implemented several ideas. I was learning to photograph at that time. Only this photo was saved on my phone. She is holding handcuffs, shadow - manipulation from another frame.
It is necessary to climb into the archive from the computer - there are a lot of pictures from one day of work (someday I may post it).
I planned to work with her more. But... She asked for a loan to pay for the next photo shoot. I gave her money. After that she stopped answering phone calls. I had only 2 such cases in my practice... At that time I did not want to do anything with this photographic material at all.

Thank you very much for this information. I will have to modify my assessment to show nine photographers and an increase in the number of hours posing. Did you photograph her in 2007, or was it at a later date?

But I am sorry to hear of this unfortunate experience. If you decide to post the pictures some day, I will be very grateful, and I am sure that many of our members will appreciate your work.

One thing they will certainly all wish to know - did she pose in a Falco crux session? :)

Of course, I don't remember the year. Possibly 2007. This can be clarified when I get to the computer. I remember taking pictures with the car.
No, fortunately, I did not have time to tie her. She cheated financially. There could be much bigger problems with BDSM interaction... I'm glad that I didn't make a crucifixion with her.

Yes, I understand - not everyone appreciates our taste in art.
I hope you will be successful in finding pictures from your archive. :)

I would like to say here with some shyness, that maybe it is not necessary to write here more (if at all) about such unfortunate situation from real life. Alice presented on this Forum in so many situations, stories, places – from long time is not a real girl from somewhere (maybe even not at all), but rather symbolic figure – one of few – important for many here as some kind of symbol, symbol and inspiration … a Muse, a Nymph, a Succubus, one of Daughters of Great Goddess … at least for me, one of the Friends of Alice …

So small and fast comment after reading it ..
