Beautifully rendered. The arched backs with full, trembling breasts thrust forward attest to the extreme muscular tensions in their bodies as they vainly attempt to find that middle position between hanging fully from their arms or pushing up with their legs.

There is no temporary relief from their agonies while on the cross. From moment to moment agonies only incrementally escalate.

MP5 captures the brutal cruelty of using crucifixion as the method of execution. Kassandra looks like beautiful art as she is displayed spread naked nailed to the cross. The spectators enjoy the beauty of the condemned woman as she writhes on her cross.
But for Kassandra there is no beauty in her execution. Her body stretches muscles as it hangs from the spikes through her wrists. Her feet, nailed flat against the stipe, cannot help support her body though they carried her as long as she could walk.
Her breasts are held up by her outstretched arms and her private parts are exposed between her legs. And despite the torments she feels as she hangs nailed to the wood, she cannot move to find comfort. Sweat runs down her flesh drawing insects that gnaw at her but she is powerless to do anything to shoo them away.

Tree doubts the people's admiring looks at her naked body as it squirms on her cross would make her feel any better about her being put to death on the cross...

The game ostensibly takes place in 431-422 bc, historical liberties notwithstanding. Sure, she may be Greek and not Roman, but she exists in a specific time period where there is no doubt in my mind that crucifixion has been invented already. Crux, mind you, that featured wrought iron nails and not impalement. Whether Darius the First crucified or impaled his 3,000 Babylonian victims is unclear. But what is clear; Artaÿctes was “nailed to a plank” in 479, by the people of Elaeus, to whom he had been an tyrant, only a few decades before the events of the game. And, I mean, I’m stricter with my chronological knowledge than assassins creed, a wacky ancient aliens ancestor simulation plot. Really anytime after ironworking becomes widespread or even just practiced in Anatolia and the Levant, crucifixion can happen.

What in the name of the sacred Olympians did that drunk executioner do with her?
She is supposed to be impaled on a stake!

Looks good though!
Looks like she is in a lot of pain.
Crowd seems to love it as well seeing her spread out for everyone to see.

And like that starts a new standard in executions.
