I highly recommend that you read the story (at least, the good parts—you can skip most of it).
Children, how time flies.
After almost 9 years, I am advised to read de Sade again. To my shame, I have to admit that I haven't done so yet.
Thank you...! for the reminder! :)
When @Martha Come quoted de Sade in October 2015, I had only been working as a 3D artist for a year. I published an image on October 3rd on Renderotica. With this publication, I went from the light side of artistic rendering to the dark side. It all started on June 1, 2014 with my very first release of 3D art on Renderosity - on "the light side of artistic rendering". This means I can celebrate my 10th anniversary this year.
Children, how time flies.

I think I'm getting off topic. What I really wanted to say is that in the next ten years I will try to... read "de Sade".

I want to be an astronaut when I grow up.
You and I are not that far apart in age. So I assume you remember the colorful covers of science fiction dime novels. They often featured sexy ladies. I loved looking at those pictures. Didn't we all want to be astronauts and explore alien worlds when we grew up? I love the memory of that.

Yes, I remember those days too. :)

Just a few years after the dime novels a campaign began to make the Conan and other fantasy novellas sell better Such as Edgar Rice Burroughs.
The result was Frank Frazetta and later Boris Vellejo
Their cover art did boost sales and in turn became an industry and influence to later films and periodicals.
And once in a while, we got lucky and saw a captive female here and there!

Lisa Muller

On June 17, 1953, a workers' uprising in the former German Democratic Republic was bloodily crushed by the Soviet army. 34 demonstrators and bystanders were killed. In the wave of arrests by the state, Soviet army and police that followed, factory worker Lisa Muller was arrested as an agitator and brutally tortured by Stasi agents and Soviet soldiers. After being tortured, she was deported to a forced labor camp in Siberia. She was never heard from again.

Just when I think they couldn't get any better, you surprise me.

Just effing beautiful, and one of the best horse scenes I've seen lately... because you didn't forget the blood that should be there.

Well done, and thank you for sharing.

A human rights activist publishes photos of human rights violations by the People's Republic of Esterian worldwide via the internet.

She is able to take photos without danger because her apartment is located in the embassy building of a democratic country. From her apartment she can see into an interrogation room of the secret service of the People's Republic of Esterian.

The secret service cannot arrest the photographer because she is a member of the embassy of the democratic country. The Esterian secret service resorts to a ruse.

When the activist looks into the interrogation room again with a telephoto lens, she can't believe her eyes. In the interrogation room, she sees her grandmother hanging completely naked from the ceiling with her hands tied above her head. She is being brutally beaten by a soldier with an iron chain.

At the same moment, her cell phone rings. A voice says:

"You have two options: Either you watch us beat your grandmother to death, for several days, or you come to us at the intelligence center and we will talk to you about all the possibilities. Of course, your grandmother will be included in the negotiation. Alive."

Your victims are always the best, for me anyway.
Nice work and thanks for sharing.

Ten Years - Images From Art. (Artur-AE)

Jeanne d’Arc

It all started with this picture 10 years ago in June 2014. I had published it on Renderosity.

At that time, although I had a purchased version of Poser, I had opted for the free software from DazStudio. I think it was a 3 version. At that time, Victoria 5 came onto the market.

The image itself was assembled by me in various steps in the free photo editing program PhotoScape. Victoria 5 was created with Pose in DS and rendered without background and shadow with 3Delight as a PNG file. Rendering was quite a lengthy process back then. I think it took about half an hour at the time.

I then added the background, text and frame in the photo program. I also used an “Out of Focus” function to let the image fade out towards the edge in sepia.

As I had no idea about 3D images at the time and no idea at all about post-processing photos, it took a very long time to create this image. This was due to the fact that I had acquired all the skills myself. So I started from ZERO.

Now, after a 10-year leap in time, I can only say that I chose the right hobby. I was always faced with new challenges. At times I published my pictures in eight forums. I was kicked out of two forums. That left only six. :)

The latest challenge now, after 10 years of working as a hobby artist, is the emergence of image creation with artificial intelligence. I can't wait to see how this develops. I'm already looking forward to looking back in 10 years' time.

Will I still be working with DazStudio then?

I'll let you know then.

Your Artur

AI often does not read your mind properly. Luckily AI can crucify, although without nails. But AI can not tie someone up properly. And for example a guillotine, gallows or pillory is also problematic.

AI can't do that much yet. In the next 10 years, things will certainly look a lot different.

Kindergarten teacher is disciplined.

A new education minister has been appointed in the good old People's Republic of Esterian.

Since taking office, she has been focusing on preschool education for the youngest children, i.e. children aged 3 to 6. She takes this topic very seriously, because in the past many young children have prattled on about the advantages of democracy.
She gives particularly conspicuous kindergarten teachers lectures on the subject of “state discipline” in person and with emphasis.

To make the minister's lecture particularly memorable and effective, one of her colleagues argumented with the kindergarten teachers in question.

The disciplinary measure is carried out as follows:
The kindergarten teacher to be disciplined is tied naked to the ceiling with ropes, her arms raised above her head. The waiting time before the disciplinary action begins is usually about an hour.

During this time, she can mentally and morally prepare herself for the conversation with the minister. She can hear the disciplinary conversations of the minister and the screaming reactions of her colleagues from other offices.

Picture.
A kindergarten teacher in her forties is being disciplined. Every time the minister asks, “Do you understand?” the employee brutally beats the naked body of the kindergarten teacher.

The minister gives about 30 well-intentioned pieces of advice. Some of them are repeated by the minister because the kindergarten teacher does not seem to be paying enough attention.
