Bare-Naked (Famous) Ladies

First attempt here;

Quite a bit of work to do still (Particularly getting the face just right - sadly I have to use Facegen Artist Pro for this which is not that great, but I have never been able to get Headshop to run on my system). Couldn't find any mention of her height online, so I've just made her 5'6" (1.67m) tall for this early test. I still need to do a bit more shaping on her breasts, hips and legs but overall I think she's not looking too bad so far

I didn't have the exact hairstyle for her so this is about the closest but since this was made for an old Poser character, I didn't have a Daz-compatible MAT file so I had to tweak the hair colour by hand with less than optimal results. I'll see if I can do a bit better for my next attempt.

That's nice work, Princess! I wonder if her head is not just a touch too large though. It might be the perspective, I suppose. Body shape seems right, if the photos/paintings of her are accurate.

Sadly not - this is a result of Facegen Artist Pro not mapping the source image onto the model very well. The source image was this one (The best quality colour one I could find);

But as usual, Facegen made a right mess of it. I guess I'll have to do it the hard way to get a half-decent likeness that doesn't look posessed

I've probably made her too tall though, as most people from that era were much smaller than today's average - Louise was 5'1" and Clara was 5'2" for example (Even though Louise always looks taller)

I call it demon possessed, yes the eye color got wrong. Never mind I know such females, but prefer not to. Looking forward to see there next try, quite interesting.

More on Ethel Warwick. Apparently she starred in a production of Ben Hur in 1902 (I don't recall a scene in which one of the female characters is romanced by a Roman, but these early publicity shots may not have had much to do with the actual play or film, except to show the actors). Anyway, appearing with a Roman sort of makes her "one of us", I think (posthumously, I suppose).

Then you’ll be happy or alarmed to know there’s a plethora of pics of her in the nude, dating back to one of her early gigs as a Ziegfeld Girl.

The last four, in the group that starts with Barbara Stanwyck, are one of the Gish sisters. I think it's Lillian, but I haven't seen them enough to tell them apart. I know some folks here may disagree, and I respect your take on this, but as much as I enjoy looking at naked beauties, the thought that they might have been unwilling to pose, but were forced to, bothers me quite a lot. That's just my feeling. I react the same way when I see whipping vids that look too real.
