Bondage / Captivity / Interrogation / Torture Scenes in Mainstream Movies

Josh Whedon is a total asshole, but he's a brilliant writer.
WAS a good writer - nothing he's done recently is even close to the quality of his previous work - but then that holds true for pretty much all of hollywood these days :(

Well at least the customer knew what they were getting ... I mean this is effectively 'caveat emptor, my arse!'

Of course, the producers of such epics could always revert to standard Hollywood Practice and promise the nuns whilst give you an accountants sexual fantasy - an 'Illustrated Double Entry Book Keeping for Dummies'... for example.

Blade: The Iron Cross (2020)

https://eroticup.com/videos/tania-fox-angelica-briones-nude-blade-the-iron-cross-2020/
(Electric torture starts at 4:39)

The link above is missing a short few-second scene, where the lady gets cut free and puts on a lab coat.

You can watch the full movie here: https://123moviesgoto.com/blade-the-iron-cross
(Entire scene starts at 46:43, but note that there are long periods of non-nudity) (Missing scene starts at 57:51)

Nice lady gets interrogated with electricity while strapped a chair. Cheesy horror movie with a hilarious premise, but you could still appreciate the eye candy. While the electricity doesn't look real at all, Tania Fox gives wonderful expressions of pain, fear, and defiance. The fact that she sweats is a neat touch too.

I've just checked my offline files, and I do have a copy of Flavia The Heretic. Can't remember whether it was the Wipfilms version or from a different source, but the video quality is very good for a 1974 film so I would think it's a DVD remaster. Here is the final execution scene by flaying.

A very cruel way of execution. But the Church was always punishing heretics the most brutal way.

Rupture (2016)

One day Renee (Noomi Rapace) gets abducted for no apparent reason and finds herself in the hands of a sinister organisation whose goal it is to trigger reactions on a genetic level in humans by confronting them with their deepest fears – in Renee’s case, arachnophobia.

When assaulted, Renee is gagged with a lot of shiny black tape, because shiny. Later, a hood is added for good measure before she is cuffed to a sturdy stretcher at wrists, ankles and neck. She gives her ties a good fight for a length of time, but despite temporary success is eventually subjected to the trigger experiments.

Seems that somebody watched Martyrs and decided, “let’s do the same, just without the gore, the tension or an original idea”. Production value is lukewarm, but Noomi Rapace delivers a decent performance.

"Gwendoline" has three interesting scenes (none of them realised as well as they should have been), but nothing much in terms of plotting or character development, and the connection to John Willie's comic strip is tenuous to say the least. The three scenes in question are at the beginning when Gwendoline is kidnapped in a sleazy Chinese gambling den until rescured by the hero (in a frankly racist scene), in the middle when Gwendoline enters the torture den of the amazon queen and rescues her maid/sidekick Beth from a death trap involving a giant crossbow, and finally an all-female gladiator fight to the death (quite explicitly shown). The second one is the best of them.

Here they are (you'll have to download and view offline -- the CF embedded player won't play the format, but they play fine in VLC).

Hi. You may not be aware of this but there is a file size limit of 10MB. The site's computer should automatically block anything bigger than that but it doesn't always work. You can of course host them on IMGUR and play them here.

Many thanks for the clips! It refreshes my memory. But I am still not convinced by the quality of this movie...

Oh, I agree. It's too stylised for any really sense of peril to the characters, more like an animated fetishwear catalogue, and as soon as the underground lair of the amazon queen is found in the middle of a Chinese desert, any sense of realism goes out the window. The setting of the gambling den scene was promising in this respect, like a more sleazy version of the opening scene of the second Indiana Jones movie (released the same year, probably not a coincidence), but the rescuer popped up far too early for the viewer to think that Gwendoline was in actual danger, and the fight scene was laughable. I agree that Tawny Kitaen and Zabou Breitman were very cute, though.

Same director as The Story Of O (and the first Emanuelle for that matter).

For videos please stick to no more than 10 MB. I think IMGUR accept up to 200MB or 60 secs whichever comes first. Links to Youtube, DailyMotion are fine. For pics please stick to thumbnails unless hosted externally.

My apologies, @melissa - the way the CF software is (or was?) configured it allows max. 10Mb for all filetypes except MP4, where the maximum is 40Mb. I have noted that the preference is not to do that and I will stick to screencaps instead. Much smaller files, and the full movie is out there in various places for those who want to check it out themselves.

I have made the below screen caps from the three "Gwendoline" scenes I mentioned. Three separate posts, but total upload size under 300k.

Scene 1 (Chinese gambling den):
