Burned at the stake

Hello. When I went to the forum, I saw a picture that was posted here earlier. (Date 08/19/2016. Photo number 408802). The picture shows a mother and daughter being burned at the stake. Very high quality work. I came up with the idea of making it my desktop wallpaper. I can not draw. So I turned to the mastery of graphic design who created this desktop wallpaper for me. I am posting this image on your website. Perhaps someone will also want such a picture.

Now this is amazing work, congrats!
The original artwork is below, for reference. Excellent how facial impressions have been altered and the scene expanded!

This was expanded and edited with AI

But you did a damn good job of it. I'd still crop out the sides, or add a crowd personally.

MGK was one of the early greats. He showed what was possible with CG

Yes. This image is original. But I didn't do it myself. made by specialists according to my order. The format is such that it can be used on a 1920/1080 screen. You can cut it to another format. They did the crowd. If it is present, it looks worse. The crowd looks good if the image is cropped to 800/600 format. Perhaps we will do this option as well.

When I watched the Game of Thrones and saw the Daenerys Targaryen coming out from the flames, unharmed, I tried to imagine how the flames have felt on her naked skin and on her most tender areas.

I came to a conclusion it was a mixture of heat, coldness and intense tingling, which swept all over her body and licked her lady bits, making her climax violently. That’s why it took so long before she got out.

Humans can’t sense absolute temperatures because the sense is relative. If your skin can withstand extreme temperatures of a flame, then non-flame is cold as coldest ice. High temperature variations cause tingling and rapid changes on blood pressure.

I wonder if any of these young women are witches and same happens to them. Of course if they don’t burn, they are subjected to other kinds of tortures.

When the master made this picture, he told me that he did not want the same faces to be repeated on two women. He said he would leave the young woman in a state of shock. This is a state when a person is on the verge of losing consciousness and does not have all the sensations. The young woman probably doesn't understand what's going on. Then, after some time, the woman will regain consciousness. The picture itself shows a path full of suffering, from darkness to light. We were all born and are moving towards the light. Our path is thorny, but we must pass it.

In a picture where the flames are still small, I see a fear and disbelief on older woman’s face, like ”no, this can’t be happening, those flames can’t be real”. On younger woman, I see fear and pleading, like ”please, don’t do this to me”

In s second picture, the younger woman seems desperate, she’s losing her hope and her strenght and ready to give up to flames.

Older wonan’s face is much more interesting to me. She’s in pain, but there are defiance and strenght, like she could start to feel the pleasure behind the pain, sucking more and more power from the flames, knowing she’s going to win eventually. She could be a witch, who knows that flames don’t harm her and she just have take the pain, live the moment and take most out of it.

If you imagine those being burned at the stake as having supernatural powers, then there is a lot of room for fantasy. If we imagine women as ordinary people, then they have already received very severe burns. The skin is severely damaged in many places. The master asked how to depict skin. With burns or not? The decision was made to depict a realistic rendering.

Yes. Burning for real is very bad and if people are being burnt alive, they will scream. I know someone who almost died on burns. Severe pain came afterwards and life threatening situation after few hours. If being burnt alive, I 'm not sure which is the worst, the actual pain or the realization that it's own skin and flesh which is sizzling.

That person told me he didn't realize how bad it was when his clothes caught on fire and melted on the skin. Nurse in a hospital didn't realize either, but when the doctor came, he was immediately sent to intensive care and stayed there several weeks and few more months in a hospital.

Probably pain receptors die relatively fast and the unbearable pain comes when the injury slowly penetrates deeper. To maximize pain and suffering, the burning should be slow. Maybe start by burning hay or something, then let them suffer and finally light the real fire. That would combine the long agony and final purification.

Yes, you're right. It happens like this. For this reason, a certain amount of brushwood is put down. Catching fire, and penetrating through the laying of firewood, it forms a whirlwind of fire. Which is not too strong, and is not capable of killing. But it can cause a lot of pain. Large firewood, during this period, does not burn. And the victim gets a lot of superficial burns, which bring a lot of suffering. In the image, this is exactly the situation.

Jean Seberg sustained minor injuries when a special effect was not correctly done and caught the flames at 1:28 in this scene.
In this situation, aside from the intense pain from the initial burning, the body would soon find breathing difficult as the heat and fire would damage the esophagus and lungs.

Very nice! The only complaint I have is that the original artists signature has been removed and no credits are given...
