Before the witch is burned at the stake, a confession must be extracted from her under cruel torture.
And the traces of this torture should still be visible later - at least if they are fresh traces.
I have reworked a few images of burning at the stake in this sense and would like to add a few old drawings of torture to get you in the mood
(Inquisitor series):
Confess, witch, or feel the pain!
And now let her burn...

I've been looking for this scene for a while now. Thanks.
Fiendish bastards tie her hands over the beam and chain her ankles to the side of the pot. Then they light the fire as far from her as they can so it will take some time for the flames to reach her. They accuse her of being a witch but are they any better than her?!?!?!?
