that's a very powerful image, Madiosi -
her eyes look at me, the viewer, almost accusingly,
like 'Are you satisfied now?
Or are you going to let them do what they want with me?'
in case anyone's wondering, it's a church, presumably Coptic,
in a village named Malawi (no connection with the country) near Minya in Egypt,
burned during an outbreak of anti-Christian violence in August 2013.
