I'm so grateful for the Eulalia Christa interpretations -
of the latest, I especially like #10

we've had on the Forums,
such vivid expressions on the Guards' faces,
and Jamilla's - oh, how I feel her pain!

That's cleverly done, Jolly, I like the way the slavegirl at the poolside
is looking back to check out the newcomer, a realistic touch!

I'm sure they'll be welcome, CMCK is a treasure-house already,
but I know Madiosi has always hoped others would contribute.

If I'm going to be totally fair, a lot of that "cleverness" was a lucky break with the background artwork - I just positioned the model to take advantage, and then blended and adjusted colour and lighting to make everything fit. I am rather pleased with the result. I'm glad you liked it. :)
 
it certainly speaks to me Jolly, nice contrasts of colour,
a wonderful shadow. There are a few odd bits -
something a bit strange has happened to her forelock at the hairdressers,
not quite sure why there's a light streak on the shadow of her breast -
but you've created a lovely sense of tension, anticipation and - indeed - resignation.

like the shadow effect ... helps to convey her resignation and foreboding
