Oh Gods! Now that you mention Frank Thorne, and it is that he has a character that seems created as a counterpart to Red Sonja, and I forgot, although he had little circulation: his name Ghita de Alizar!

Oh Gods! Now that you mention Frank Thorne, and it is that he has a character that seems created as a counterpart to Red Sonja, and I forgot, although he had little circulation: his name Ghita de Alizarr! Alizarr's Ghita is the complete opposite of Red Sonja. One of his passions is making love with the men he likes. Here I upload some images of the character and there is one with Red Sonja and Ghita together. Also one with a model and Frank Thorne himself portrayed as the heroine and wizard from the adventures of Ghita.

But Ghita from Alizarr is also one of my favorite comic characters. Perhaps for being the counterpart to Sonja.

Here is a first batch of bdsm-themed vignettes in Conan comics. First a first print run of the Superconan copies of The Wild Sword. Here I include pics of my favorite Superconan scenes; and they are when the princess Chabela is whipped suspended from the ceiling in volume 12, and when the warrior Isparana hangs from the ceiling naked in volume 3, and the one in which she is on the floor naked with the ropes still on her wrists, and they see some whiplash marks on his back. In the vignettes where she hangs naked, the lashes are not appreciated, but we intuit them, and also in the original written story "The sword of Skelos" Conan says something like that, she is still beautiful despite the welts. And that means that she has been beaten or beaten. And from what is guessed from the conversations between Conan and her, it is more than likely that she too was raped. However, in the vignettes they are not handicapped either, since Conan says that he has arrived in time before the girl was applied marking irons. There is also the previous example of this same adventure, where a maid or slave is whipped and marked with hot irons (this is described in the written account) but the vignettes are only intuited.

...and more.

I will see here the vignettes where the slave hangs from the ceiling, where whip marks are guessed at her and the executioner prepares red-hot iron. Then there are the vignettes with Isparana. Note that the cartoonist made the maid more plump, as described in the story, and Isparana slimmer with a spectacular body. Oh, and the first two vignettes belong to the story "The People of the Black Circle"!
And by the way, one day it will occur to me to make a story about what Isparana suffers at the hands of her captors and the beastly executioner! In the cartoons we see what happens to Conan until he rescues Isparana, and obviously we do not see what happens to her from being captured in a tavern until her rescue. Imagine a story where she is raped, presumably flogged before the arrival of a savior Conan!

For example, (they are not the ones I have put here) in the Superconan the character Kull of Valusia, another Robert E. Howard character, also appears, and there is a cartoon where the future King Kull frees a childhood friend from suffering, that she is crucified, ready to be burned alive for falling in love with an enemy of her tribe. Kull kills her saving the young woman much suffering. And of this scene there are other versions at the hands of other cartoonists. One of them in the regular series "The wild sword" that I will post.

The ones I have put here are from the first version and the best drawn version of the story "The sliding shadow", since another version of this same story has recently been published in color.

Here I hang the commented episode of Kull entitled Exile from Atlantis, but this is the version that appeared in the Wild Sword number 138, and different from the version of a Superconan that I will post later, and when I locate it.

...and more of Red Sonja. Pic number 3 in color may be perfectly prior to one that I love, as it is of a crucified redhead.

I was camped in a clearing in the forest, at the side of the road that linked these two cities of the kingdom of Ophir. And beside me, on the grass lay Red Sonja's sword. A sword that no man had ever possessed. So I wondered what spells they had used to strip Hyborea's best warrior of her. The answer to this question was confirmed to me by a spy from my band of bandits in the destination city we were heading to.
The messenger had seen the red-haired warrior shackled tightly. He had witnessed how they had flogged her, and when he was leaving the city, days later, he had witnessed how they took out of the city dungeons, a Red Sonja with cut hair, skinny, with whip marks, and with a face of resignation and skittish, as if he had never been a warrior. What powerful spell had they used to bend her like this?

It also seems that they were about to crucify her. Crucify Red Sonja! It seemed impossible to me that this could ever happen. But he was convinced that she was going to get out of that situation. And the sword that she now had in my possession would be returned to her owner, and more than anything for the reasons that would drive me to try to rescue her. So I know for sure that she will get out of that situation. She must have tried something by the time I and my party get to town.
