An Act for the control of dangerous or otherwise harmful drugs and substances and for purposes connected therewith.
5.—(1) Except as authorised by this Act, it shall be an offence for a person, on his own behalf or on behalf of any other person, whether or not that other person is in Singapore —
(a) to traffic in a controlled drug;
7. Except as authorised by this Act, it shall be an offence for a person to import into or export from Singapore a controlled drug.
33.—(1) Except as provided in subsection (4A), (4B) or (4C) or under section 33A, the Second Schedule shall have effect, in accordance with subsections (2) and (3), with respect to the way in which offences under this Act are punishable on conviction.
(j) conviction under section (5) AND section (7) shall be punished with the death penalty as enhanced under the discretion of the Home Office and the Prison authorities, as well as many strokes of the cane as the court shall judge salutary.
Look it up, it is the law in Singapore. Actually the most common executions are for drug trafficking. I kid you not! But, what the hey? They are sure to cut her a break! She's a friend of the judge!
