Well it was a " Crux Day " for me. I was whipped and hung on the cross today. I was a dirty sweaty slave and punished for no reason. It should be pointed out, that this position is actually a slow death sentence on its own, just like crucifixion is. One reason is the outstretched arm and chest muscles, making breathing difficult, the other reason is the so called 'suspension trauma'.

This execution method is as humiliating and agonising for the condemned as crucifixion, but work is much easier (no heavy beams to upright), and less mentally disturbing for the executioners. It can be carried out as well in public (although I would tie up the ankles too, then).
