Has the CruxWinds "land" drifted somewhere? I went in to Second Life for the first time in what may be a year or more, and attempts to visit the location lands me on a small, grassy island, seemingly for sale....

We had to relocate CW due to rising costs and losing the benefactor who basically financed the whole thing (the one time membership fee never came close to covering costs) for years.

While we were at it we redesigned the sim. Drop me an IM (Willowfall1) in SL and I'll send you the new IM.

Ok thank you.

Without bothering to sign in I'd say that Second Life is massively more complex than IMVU which seems to be a substitute for relatively normal social interaction.

And yes you can do that in SL too but for example: (1) Cruxwinds is a sim dedicated to crucifixtion. (2) I also play in a Game of Thrones sim, (3) I belly dance and attend orgies (as a temple slave) in Pharaonic Egypt, (4) I'm a kajira in Gor (5) I host at music clubs (6) Go sailing (7) horseback riding ......... well you get the picture.

If you wanted to be on the Star Ship Enterprise, there are sims like that.

Because there are areas in SL rated "Adult" you can do or be ALMOST (illegal things like age play are crushed when discovered) anything you want or can imagine.

I am fairly certain that Second Life is the only platform out there that supports our crucifixion kink. Skyrim can come close, but it's single-player only (Elder Scrolls Online won't support adult stuff).

in Garry mod you can crucify ragdolls models, but require a lot patience to pose them, here some my test efforts, not very good one but gonna make better if made some extra props, nails, crown of thorns, titulus etc.

I don't even know if it's possible to make such a mod where players press the use key on the cross and then their character will be nailed to it.
Maybe https://www.officialdigitalero.org knows more.

"In Garry mod"? A mod for IMVU? From what I see, it isn't close to what CruxWinds in Second Life offered (as seen in the many screen captures posted).

People (geniuses!) have set that up in Second Life. Would surely love it if someone could do that for Skyrim.

I'm just wondering what the attraction in cruxing rag dolls (or even a NPC in a "game") is compared to playing with another real live brain behind the other avi?

And I'm not trying to be a smart ass here, maybe being an extrovert I just don't understand the attraction with an inanimate object or AI programmed by someone else, but I'm trying to get an answer that would allow me to intellectually understand the attraction.

Well, in Skyrim, your own avatar can be crucified. Sadly, no one has yet added all the requisite activities by the surrounding NPCs needed to make a whole scene out of it. You just get chucked up there with/without nails. Regardless, getting crucified even in an abrupt manner can feel intense, if there are plenty of onlookers. Again, it would be fan-tabulous if someone were to work up an entire scene, involving removal from a cell, and a march through town to the execution site, positioning the player-prisoner, with comments from the guards and catcalls from the onlookers, as exists for hanging and beheading.

Garry mod is a mod for Half-life which should be about 1/4 as good as Second-Life :)
Joking aside, most of the assets of garry mod must be from something like 20 years ago
