Crucifixion In Video Games

A RP at CW with SeD. The premise is the famous story and art work "The Rape of the Sabine Women". In this twist of the plot Hilaria, daughter of a high ranking Roman, is to be married off to a man she finds repulsive. The Sabine siege of Rome to get back their women interrupts the marriage plans and Mila (Hilaria's much abused slave girl who is Sabine in origin) convinces the spoiled bitch (Hilaria) that she can get out of the marriage and make a lot of money by helping the Sabines get inside the city. So she does.

Caught as a traitor to the Romans Hilaria lashes out Mila telling her she's going to see her gang raped, tortured and crucified and thus pronounces her own sentence aa a traitor.

Multipart picture series over two days so as to not overload the server.

Great, but please note the limits we've had to impose to keep our excess usage charges down:

I suppose they could count as 'member's original work', for which the size limit is 2MB, but if you can keep them <400KB, the limit for other images, that helps a lot. And in any case, only 5 per day pre member in any one thread.
 
Sometimes I wish that there were ways to have crucifixion in video games that you can do to other people. I know that would make the referenced game become a mature rated game.
 
The Romans had never seen an elf, so after they had their way with her, they executed her for amusement!

I don't understand the fascination with doing it with a NPC (as in a video game) instead of with a real person behind the avi.

Besides which we have the ability in SL to have a much wider variety of scenarios and things to do (for example in the old CW we didn't have a Arena and a Ludus (Gladiator school) and in the new one we do. No programming needed, no rewrite of a scenario we just installed them. And that is another thing our scenarios are free form we aren't constrained by pre-programmed scenarios.

Simulations (and their programming) is VASTLY more sophisticated than any RP Game ever will be. And depending on your computer the graphics can be amazing!

just imagine , one of CW RP-s captured from a fev perspectives (few "cameramen") and montaged into short movie with sound and everything. So work of people who made the story and played in it would not be forgotten with time :) Just came to mind...

Had a nice RP at CW on Sunday (it is after all Roleplay Sunday).

The premise was sex slave awaiting her Dominus in his bedroom unaware that he has decided to replace her with a younger slave and torture and kill her for his own sadistic pleasure. She of course is terrified and begs to be allowed to show that she should be kept or at worst sold. He tells her that if she pleases him he'll reconsider his decision (of course he has no intention of doing that). And as she attempts to please him he indulges in his various well known sexual perversities and leads her on (and yes we RPed that).

In the end of course she in doomed to torment and death by his own hand.

Well the action is definitely down as the board gaming generation (baby boomers) ages out but some of us younger folks are still keeping the idea of human interaction (instead of programmed NPCs) still alive. It is much more exciting.

What has SIGNIFCANTLY improved is the quality of the avis, graphics and what you can build.
