Captured and tortured. After the scourging, the Queen orders Rufuss be crucified for entering their sacred land.
As he's suffering on the cross, a maiden appears. Will she rescue him from this horrible fate or is she there to end his misery?

It is Rufus-style. He makes very good and high-quality pics with face but not nude, some make nude without face, one has to accept. He also explained why. He concentrates on other aspects which I can completely agree with.

It is funny, we do not know if a loincloth was ever used in a crucifixion, but in the depiction it makes completely sense. So we probably are victims of some kind of early Hollywood version of crucifixions.

Crucifixion Day at the city walls.​

Early Friday morning, outside of the city wall, three stipes, a mallet and the spikes are ready for the prisoners. Friday is the crucifixion day. The stipes are set by the city wall so everyone can see and be afraid of Roman Empire.

Soon the streets are crowded. Some are busy with their daily task, others arrived anticipating the crucifixion.

Rufuss was there to witness his twin brother Alexander and his cousin Atticus that will be crucified for rebellion against Rome.

Early Friday morning, outside of the city wall, three stipes, a mallet and the spikes are ready for the prisoners. Friday is the crucifixion day. The stipes are set by the city wall so everyone can see and be afraid of Roman Empire.

Soon the streets are crowded. Some are busy with their daily task, others arrived anticipating the crucifixion.

Rufuss was there to witness his twin brother Alexander and his cousin Atticus that will be crucified for rebellion against Rome.

In his heart and mind, Rufuss knows he will soon meet the same fate on the Roman cross. As children we often played and mimicked crucifixions never thinking of the victim's horrific, tormented suffering and death. Now we know our deepest spiritual need to accept death on the Roman Cross in atonement for offending the Romans, whom God has placed over us in authority. Only God knows His own reasons why.....

 

[Rufuss]

1. Soon the Centurion arrived with seven of his soldiers and cleared up execution site, the crowd had to move up to the side, they will have a better view from there.

2. Right after, Atticus arrived at the gate, stripped of his clothes and wearing nothing but a small loincloth, he was the first one to see the stipes that he soon will be crucified on.

3. Atticus was led to the third cross, behind him was Alexander the identical twin of Rufuss, they look so alike you can not tell the difference. He too was led to the stipe to be crucified while Rufuss watched from the crowd.

4. Both Atticus and Alexander arrived at their stipe, both know what will happen next. The crowd is anticipating.

5. Atticus is thrown on the ground and soldiers began preparation of nails. Another soldier kicks Alexander to push him to the ground.

6. Atticus screams as the soldiers nailing both of his hands at the same time, his body jerks. Alexander can not look at that, he know he will experience that agony really soon.

7. Atticus is nailed to the patibulum, two soldiers picked up both sides of the wood while another soldier pull the rope. Alexander turn to see his cousin being raised on to the stipe. Another Roman soldier puts his foot on Alexander chest so he could not escape. Atticus screams as he feels the pressure of nails on his wrists.

8. The patibulum is attached to the cross. Soldier prepares to nail the feet. Atticus screams in unbearable pain.

9. A soldiers grabs the feet of Atticus and presses them to the stipe as another soldier is about to nail the spike.

10. Atticus is nailed to the cross. "Let those feet go, they are securely fasten to the stipe, he is not going anywhere" - A soldier tells another one
"Stop wasting your time, there is another prisoner that is waiting for his spikes" - yelled another soldier pointing his finger at Alexander.
Alexander has difficult time breathing because of realization of what is about to happen to him and the heavy foot that is on his chest, he is next.

 

[Rufuss]

11. "Aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh" - Alexander screams as the soldier nails the first spike into his right hand, another soldier holds the left arm.

12. Second spike goes through Alexanders left hand, he screams in agony while his body jerks.

13. Both hands of Alexander are nailed to the cross, soon he will be raised on to the stipe.
