Who was it ?Things are getting tighter, just saw a fellow artist's account deactivated. Shame really like her (think it a she) work!
I seem to be ok for now. Currently under the radar I think.

Sometimes genius is so simple.
Some of the text is still salvagable!
Hey, I didn't see anyone else thinking of it.Did you... did you just call my post genius? Well, that puts you in a very small, exclusive club. lol
If you meant Wayback is genius, as you were.
Under the Radar...for the moment.Things are getting tighter, just saw a fellow artist's account deactivated. Shame really like her (think it a she) work!

I once sat in front of that painting (in The Louvre, Paris) for several hours, drawing. A rather nice woman started chatting to me, and asked me “WHY did he paint it so BIG?” I think I did all right answering that one, talking about scale, and relating it to the difference between a cinema screen and a television... but her next question floored me. “How did they get it IN here?” I could only gesture at the doors. Which are probably among the largest doors in existence. “Maybe...through the doors?” I suggested. She was very nice.Géricault's "Raft of the Medusa."
The really interesting question is, how did those ancient artists get these huge canvases on a scanner to post their work on forums???Apropos

It's just an idea: if you try to take a picture. The camera could be on a tripod. The really interesting question is, how did those ancient artists get these huge canvases on a scanner to post their work on forums???
Joking aside: this is exactly the reason why I just again failed utterly with an attempt to do a colourised picture.
On my usual format faces are much too small for precise brush work and anything bigger would not fit on my scanner.
I just should stay with simple pencil drawings.
Has anyone tried ArtUntamed yet? I am being nagged to join..I see Berseh has posted this:
They're going quite mad. Thankfully something is opening the coming week, made by artists who are getting tired of the hassle..
Well I guess it will be easy for us CF critters to use. It's a Xenforo based site tooHas anyone tried ArtUntamed yet? I am being nagged to join..
There is little there at the moment (mostly one of the artists I follow keenly). But I suspect, from something I have seen on DA, that Thursday evening (European time) will see the site open properlyHas anyone tried ArtUntamed yet? I am being nagged to join..
We can register, now? There is little there at the moment (mostly one of the artists I follow keenly). But I suspect, from something I have seen on DA, that Thursday evening (European time) will see the site open properly
I tried last night: the answer is no. But several artists have already posted work. There are four pages in the gallery, so I don't know how it works at the moment. I hope all will be much clearer on Thursday evening. We can register, now?
They might indeed......ArtUntamed might want to clarify something about the terms
That's what I understand.Hmmm, ArtUntamed might want to clarify something about the terms. They say,
We may suspend or terminate your access to all or any part of ArtUntamed at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. You are granting us with a non-exclusive, permanent, irrevocable, unlimited license to use, publish, or re-publish your content in connection with ArtUntamed.
So ... if they ban a user, they consider it to be in their right to still re-publish that banned user's content because they gave permanent, irrevocable license?
