Well I guess it'll be imporant to take a look at what the terms and conditions say,


as with a site hat's being newly launched they may be changed .

It's going to be important to remember that while of course any such site has legal obligations to deal with,
once you get into criteria like what is "objectionable content" or "considered to be pornography" or "exceeding the limits of ‘good taste’, as judged by our staff"
... this is a reminder that the people who run the site will have a certain vision of what it is good for.
And that's their prerogative.

the logo of ArtUntamed does suggest that BDSM, bondage, and perhaps peril situations will be acceptable,
but it's by no means clear that they will welcome the entire spectrum of art that currently exists on CF for instance.

I tried it, it's open now but I got to "Great now to the interesting stuff" and clicked on three random blogs because that's what it said do and I think I'm on my blog but not a lot works. How do I post stuff? I tried a couple of suggested blogs but there doesn't seem to be much art in it. It's all a bit gruesome so far!

Okay, so on the original topic....
Things are now really fucking weird. I haven't checked my page over on dA in over a week. With the shit that's been going on, and the fact that interest in my work seems to have died (other than a few hardcore supporters, that I already know), I kind of halfway expected to see my account gone. At the very least, I expected more of my drawings and writings to have been removed, and no one to really notice. Other than the normal crew faving when I post a new work (which I haven't done in weeks), interest in my own stuff has been zero.
Checked in today, half expecting to see my account wiped. Not only was it not wiped, and no further drawings or writings removed, suddenly, I have nearly a dozen new watchers. Wtf? Is purging other artists somehow sending more people my way? That makes no sense.
AND I saw (can't find them now) more than one actual dick pic, which was expressly forbidden in the rules. Like, we're tossing people under the bus for things that were NOT forbidden, but now allowing things that were explicitly forbidden (and most of us avoided or self-censored)?
That place makes zero sense, anymore.

I’m virtually only going on DA to see if they banned me yet :p
but I got a lot more watchers recently too, despite not uploading anything. So I don’t know WTF is going on :confused:

Have you noticed that a lot of your new DA watchers are new people and there seems to be a lot of new BDSM followers around? Are they joining DA as fast as DA is discarding them? If you search BDSM you get 407,500 results. Sci Fi, which you'd think would be huge, is 604,600 and Romance is 2,100,000! What does this mean?
 
Yes, I tot up two or three new watchers daily, and really I'm not doing anything for them to watch. My erotic comments on the visual artists' work is my only art-form. Then very few of my watchers are producing work themselves - if they are, I watch them back. As for sending each other llamas, I've never fathomed what that's all about.
