Honestly I was just wondering when. It’s a shame to, it was great to see all of your art in one place. Well, in terms of galleries pixiv is still an option.
@Darkprincess69 I think your analysis misses the mark. Most of the people in my discord are millennial or Zoomers, and I have to say they mostly have same, reasonable views. There is a wide variety of political stances within my friends group, united mostly by our shared appreciation of crux-art. Hating generations divides us needlessly, and I’m not going to hold your hand here; saying things like “millennial snowflakes” Unironically means you’ve been heavily steeped in propaganda. Think about the people you know ages 26-18. It’s a huge number of people I’m sure, full of people with hopes, dreams, families. Maybe a few snowflakes, but there are absolutely middle aged snowflakes as well. If I had to define a cohort of people that large, the only word that could really suit them all would be “human”.
The issue is not with the kids, or the young adults. Your anger is being misdirected. The issue is with the large impersonal corporate systems who buy these sites from each other and sell people’s content and data to advertisers. The issue has always been them. The kids? They are your allies, they’ll be making the new sites, the better sites, the more anonymous sites. Don’t let these corporate hacks divide you from your fellow travelers with this false narrative of “millennial snowflakes banning what they don’t like”. It’s the advertising doing that!
Old tumblr, millennial ground zero, was full of bdsm porn. And then the advertisers decided it wasn’t what they wanted to be affiliated with. Remember that.
