The romans also executed women via rape by large animals. A infamous poisoner was, allegedly, raped to death by a giraffe in the arena and during the opening games for the Colosseum the myth of Queen Pasiphaë, who had sex with a bull and gave birth to the Minotaur, was reenacted, with a real woman, most likely a slave girl or condemned criminal.
It is not known if the girl survived.

There are a lot of myths about women having sex with animals, or gods posing as animals. So it's only logical there's also some scenes played out in theatres and arenas.
I doubt there was actual penetration - nobody could see it anyways, because of the distance. It was mostly reenactment and make-belief. Just like gladiators also weren't always killed, just made to bleed a lot with superficial wounds. And if we check out bestiality porn in modern days, there's also rarely any real penetration. Perhaps an animal can't really get it hard with a human female.

Interesting captions.
