Getting back to prime examples of Fit, Lovely Ladies Crucified, one of my favorites through the years has always been Kristin. She did everything right: slow, twisting suffering with a few moans thrown in for effect, all delivered via a bodacious body.
Now, I know some think the sunglasses are too suburban housewife-y, but one can always fantasize that away (recently abducted from a nude beach? kidnapped as she left the office after her ophthalmology appointment? or maybe she IS a suburban housewife, looking for kicks at the hands of crux perverts).
Anyway, here are two snips from a longer video where she tries out several positions. (Perspiring armpit fans: look for the drip of sweat in vid number 1.)

I agree. At least, in the later Kristin videos, she wore normal sunglasses. Here's an excerpt from the earliest Kristin crux I know of. Notice the strange, Mardi Gras type specs. They were more distracting and puzzling than sunglasses.
She did a good job of hanging on this gate, however. Sort of a make-shift crux, but with her body, who cares?
I'd have to try to track it down somewhere in the ancient history of CF, but I remember someone said Kristin wore sunglasses because she was blind.

I personally get a stronger erotic kick when their feet positioned higher up, Boyo. But there are many into crux for its Blasphemy Component, and they get off on naked women in the traditional posture of Christ Crucified.
When I look at Yupar's emulation of Velasquez, I understand.
That Female Christ picture must be exhibit A as to why a woman of culture must endure her punishment in her birthday suit. It's almost like an insult for her not to do it that way.

If one trolls the free bdsm video sites (as I do), London River is one model who keeps popping up. She's done several crux-style bondage scenes. I think she qualifies as a Fit, Lovely Lady Crucified. This is an except from "London River Humiliated" --an understated title if ever there was one.

There is no explaining that can do away with the sunglasses. Everything, especially the sweat dripping from her armpits, is good, but the sunglasses just mar the effect. The crux perverts that you mention deserve at least a D- for their oversight and incompetence. LOL.

I'd not put it so harshly, but you’re right, glasses of any kind of mar the effect.
Unless the bodies in question otherwise rivet one's attention.
