They didn't stay in this particular pose for more than a few seconds. These shots are an instant in time. In the next second, they changed a little or a lot, there's no precise rule or number.
How long would they stay on the cross? I think Makar generally stopped everything and took them down after twenty minutes. But it varied, some girls found it too painful, some only did videos with their feet on a stool or some kind of support, maybe only tied loosely at the ankles, maybe not at all.

You can notice about the 9th from the left, she has a scare on her low belly, it was a Caesarean during child delivery. This woman suffered the martyrdom while giving birth, and she's again in sufferings on the Cross. Think about in Eastern countries, lot of caesarean are still managed without anesthesia. I've always been truly amazed at how Makar could get such beautiful women, conventional models, to mount a cross and be photographed. His work stands alone. Also fascinating is what process the women went through to accept the assignment, and deal with their discomfort

simply magnificent ! she's a strong woman : just after a child delivery, she was able to bear the terrible pain of the Cross. I discovered crucifixion with her, she's still my favorite model, at the end of the session, when she was crying her suffering, it is very emotionnal. She stopped erotic and porn, but i was able to find her in North Russia, of course i will not unveil her real name and coordinates of her work, but i can say she is still a magnificent woman. I love that you have a picture of a Behind The Scenes of a photoshoot. I think a lot of viewers don't appreciate the toll that such modeling can take on the body and the mind. The women that do it are very brave and deserve the money that they earn by doing it.

Yes they deserve the money ! Think to Jenya : she's a really beauty, so the Cross enhance her beauty with the suffering she bears. If you have a model like Kira : she has not a really beautiful face in comparison to Jenya or Alice, and her career of model could be focused more on genital parts, but once crucified, Kira gets a level of beauty wich could be unreachable otherwise : her face is distorted by the pain.
You can note too that lot of models, during the session, watch the sky : indeed, i'm sure they pray God to help them, thinking to the Passion of Jesus Christus....

I like to think, and see some evidence in a few out-takes, that they experienced some pleasure too -
the challenge of coping with physical pain can be strangely erotic, at least for some women,
