I found on my old disk some old ones made by phlebas himself I thought the subject was former cruxpornostar Amber

Yes, Amber and our dear Taryn with the whip.
I think I explained once before, these were created on a PC with the monitor set very dark. They look brighter now than they were intended to, the darkness was intended to blend the elements together better. Ah well, we learn as we go along. people didn't see them the way they were intended. It's a problem with a few of my "moody" manips from that time.

I thought that this simple greyscale manip from the same time worked out pretty well

Now I find this art installation interesting, it should go in the Crux Gallery.
I like the way the different stages are part of the performance, not just the finished product.

Crucified in public, I bet she loved it !

Wow, screwed down, that seems more 'final' than buckles or ropes, almost as permanent as nails.
Any background on this phlebas? How long she was exhibited, what she felt?

It was all great fun until she heard the curator say to a museum patron "for a donation that size of course we can leave her to die there. We'll just change the name of the exhibit from 'Female Crucified' to 'Female Executed by Crucifixion'..."

that would be a ... rattling experience? though a lot of the modern trains are built very low...
