The first of these is an Alice manip, I think. Bob has probably noticed it already.
The second is my favourite from the set. Something about how she poses and looks at you. I react almost viscerally.

Quite right, Jolly, it is one of Damian's highly accomplished 'Roman Decadence' manips, featuring Alice. Whilst her face is not identifiable at this angle, her body is quite recognisable from Makar's pictures. The patibulum and rope bindings in the manip are also derived from Makar.
Damian observed that Alice made a very good subject for crux manipulations, and he has used her in several pictures, sometimes subtly modifying a pose to create a composite figure. He recently expressed his intention to make some new manips employing Alice, which I look forward to seeing in the future.
I'm not sure that's the same pose. It may be a composite, but I think I have seen an Alice shot by Makar in which she has her head thrown back, as if in agony. If I had access to my picture files I could check this...

Agreed, it is not identical, but it illustrates her recognisable physique. She certainly assumed exactly the pose used by Damian (several times) so there may well be a direct Makar source.
