that they are, Eul...
Hmmmmm?....Let x=original artist and y=initial maniper. If z=maniper of y's manip of x's work then y has no grounds for complaint and would be most unlikely to win damages against z seems to be a fair summary of whatever it was that went through tree's brain.Just a side thought as a manipulator myself... I often don't know who the original artist is but when I do I try to remember to credit them. While taking signatures out of a work is fairly easy I don't do it when using the art.
On thing I will add... If a manip is maniped when the original artist is not credited the initial maniper doesn't have much to complain about...

...did anyone follow that???
There's several well known models in there. Tree is not wise in the way of the rodent...Dammit I was trying for profound
The 'protest' shots were interesting on several levels. Here she is bound naked by her choice to make a point thus she is probably not humiliated being naked before the crowd, though she may be somewhat annoyed some of the onlookers may not even notice what point she is trying to make.
Now image instead of a protest she has been placed there for punishment of a crime or a moral infraction. The expressions could look the same but I would suspect humiliation would enter the picture....
