The use of the garrote or the gallows is the same. The condemned is put to death by strangulation. It can be done quickly with a long drop hanging or a quick tightening of the device around the condemned's neck or slowly with a short drop or a deliberate tightening of the garrote. Either way, there is procedures to be followed. This woman has been sentenced to be executed by being garroted. Much is made of the formality of strapping her into the device. One would not want her to gyrate grotesquely as the strap closes around her throat. After all, her punishment is death. There is no need to make a spectacle of her strangulation. Never mind she was placed in the chair naked for all to see and a camera will broadcast her slow strangulation.

Thank you. When I saw this on rendererotica, I knew I should post it here. The artists have thought of everything. For example, garrote 2. There you can change the position of the woman's body.
When the executioner carries out the execution as in picture 2, he can look directly into the woman's face and see how the process of strangulation develops. Depending on the task at hand and the condition of the woman, he may continue to turn the lever, or he may wait if he does not want her to die quickly. It is very comfortable.
There are also modernized mechanical gallows. And the big plus is that they show the woman before and during the hanging. As if they are talking. Very visual. Although the loop is placed very effectively, there is no feeling of heaviness. The loop should be under the chin. She's hanging in a loop. The loop cannot effectively compress the neck in the middle. It's impossible. She strangles her under the chin. But there is an opportunity to twist the position of the loop.

Wowzee! So much possibilities. And it seems you know your stuff (explanation on the loop). I am mostly a fan of "classic" gallows. Then again, some of the art pics I saw with a modernized gallows were stunning.
Thinking of crane hangings (Cydo did a few - even an animation) but my favorite (background as well as execution room) is the Japanese execution room with the one way glass for the spectators (witnesses they are called, yeaheh).
Anyway, I think you will have a lot of fun with your newly acquired items on Renderotica. Just on the curious side: how much was the fish? Or otherwise stated: how much did it cost? That Pack 1 for Daz?
