And if the worst case happens ...
some home work could be a senseful compensation.

And perhaps your efforts should make your wife a bit more merciful ... ;)

I have two pictures that are a little like an old line drawing by Cobra. I remember that a poll accompanied her picture. It asked what the guy was saying. That picture is gone now, it was lost when the site went down two years ago. Maybe, if we are lucky, she'll post it here and we could redo the poll.
The third picture is the lead in for my new series on the galley trip Apostate and I took across the Atlantic this summer. We drank lots of beer and watched the girls row. I intend to call the series "The Goddess and the Slave Girl" for our own Connie and Eulilia.
Enjoy,
Helmut

You mean this one?
Was not a poll, was a caption contest IIRC..
Regards,
Inge

Yes that's the one, and I do remember Inge; the contest was to determine who could provide the best possible caption for the picture. I've always liked line drawings and I've always enjoyed your work and I think this was one of your better efforts.. With you kind permission maybe we can do it again:
So... Examine the the drawing above from Inge. Take note that the man is talking to someone outside the area of the scene (Off camera.) The contest is to tell us what he is saying.
And my thanks to Inge for participating,

Helmut

I think my favorite of the three is the last one. Hence I look forward to the series even though your trip seems to be a lot better than anything I've done :)

I've always wanted to go for a ride on a boat but never like that.
