I hope he gets well soon!

Well...., this should shock everyone. I haven't been ill; but the well went dry. In other words I ran out of ideas. That plus the fact that my computer is getting old, very old. I've been looking in on a lap top but I would rather not put any pictures on it since I take it out in public from time to time. I'm considering what to do for a new desk top I built this one and changed the mother board twice. A new computer is only the half of it I'll need mostly new software to run on it so that could get rather expensive.
Managed to get these out last week, and now that I've cleaned them up I'll post them. Hope you like.
Enjoy,
Helmut

It's good that you're well Helmut :) ,
and you've already given us enough ideas to keep us horny for yonks!
Like they say, lust will find a way! ;)

Very nice. Just a little suggestion. The little pieces of wood that are use to secure the womans's limbs would, unless they were pre-drill (not likely, back in the day) would split when driving spikes through them. You might want to save some rendering work and skip the wood and make the nailheads just a tad bigger...

....glad to hear you are well.

That's just what I thought!
Creativity and lust cannot be forced, they are like cats and just do the opposite of what one would want.
Sitting back, having a good glass of wine and at some point, ideas will pop up.

@Helmut:
On your "computer problem", this needn't really get expensive because of the software.
There is no point to really buy office... OpenOffice (free) is as good...
There are tons of free image programs, let me name GIMP as an example...
etc..
A laptop may be an option, if you use a "professional" version of Windows (assuming you are uesd to Micro$oft systems). The "pro" versions have better support for different users, what permits you to "hide" what you don't want others to see...
It still is a good idea to have "hot" files not on the device but on some external storage (like a NAS) and if you are an artist who invests time in his art, backup is important.

(I'll be glad to provide more hints, if helpful)

The Romans had some good wood working tools. But then all it would take to make a hole in the wood would be a hot nail. Thanks for the input.

You ran out of ideas!!!............I very nearly developed repetative strain injury uploading all your previous works to the archive...I thought they would never end!! Good to see you back and well on form!! :)

You don't have to put any pictures on a laptop. I don't know what the price of USB flash drives are over there but a 32GB drive would cost 24$ over here..and getting cheaper. they are so reliable you can put them through a washing machine!!

Well, a 1TB external HD costs maybe $100 and is more secure.
Also more bulky, granted. But the good thing on that is that it doesn't get lost as easily ;)
If there is more than one computer in the house and the disk needn't be hidden (part of its content can ;) ), then I rather suggest a NAS.

The "single harddisk in a computer" just isn't a suitable setup any more, not even for home use.
Think of the fact that our whole life is digital nowadays.
- (Family)Photos are digital and the paper prints are made with cheap ink that fades out in a few years, not like the real photo paper of earlier days.
- E-mail
- collection of pictures / documentations / music / videos

The setup I did for my parents (basic IT users) is the following:
1* QNAP TS-212 NAS with two mirrored 1TB Harddisks (if one fails, no data is lost)
1 USB docking station for 3.5" Harddisks with a 1TB Harddisk for Backup (backup once a week is enough. This backup harddisk is stored in the basement, to protect it (and all the data on it) from incidents like lightning, fire, robbery, catastrophic failure of the NAS...)
All valuable data are stored on the NAS and the two computers, one desktop and one laptop are backing up their local data onto the NAS as well.
Another advantage is the fact that NAS data can be accessed from either system, if the user has the rights.

Ok, that cost as much as a cheap computer, but we thought that it was well worth "making sure all the family pictures etc. are not at such high risk".

I have a hard drive and you should see the ones Mel and Julia keep in their night stand...

I was on the road behind a big truck today
belonging to a computer company called "knowhow"-
on the back it said
"I may not be a racing driver,
but I know how to deliver a good hard drive"
:D

I have a 5 1/4 inch floppy . . .
only one?:D a slack one we called them and i had wp on one of them (1980) and on another one with DOS (disk operating system) for writing my correspondence (good old dostime no pics only txt)
