Well, you know, before starting an engine they used to lube the holes... er put lube in the lube containers ;)
 
I really love the variety of pictures we're getting here of late, it's how I wanted this thread to be so many thanks.
I've also tried to interest other artists, but egos being what they are that might be too much of a stretch.

How time does fly. When I did the calendar thing the other day I realized an entire month has slipped away without my making a post to this thread while I've been working on a history project. I've done some stuff; I want to finish last summers trip to Europe with my slave galley, and occasionally I get an idea for another picture and I'll post one next time.
For now I dug up some pictures from back in 2002 and 2004 that I believe haven't been published or at least their exposure in minimal. I got the idea to use them from certain themes that seem to be popular on this page; Garden Party will be first then afterward I'll do some upside down crucifixion and one I hope will have a funny twist.
So here are the first four, as I said they are from my version of the Garden Party theme, and yes there are more I have these on a CD. I once considered publishing.

Thank you for using a good naming scheme (each pic file name starts with a unique number) so it's easy to keep track of your work.

Could you try letting the girls' heads hang forwards a bit? I doubt they could keep their necks stiffly upright for long under the duress of the cross. Plus it would make them look delightfully submissive.

Numbering the pics and keeping them in order certainly makes archiving easier...it also displays possible military discipline.
