For those interested in the technical details those are 2 Genesis 2 3d figures,i did some 3d scene when G2 came out but i was never happy with the results.
I wanted to see if with more experience i could be happy with the end results.

I love how they move! They can't help but spread their legs and expose themselves to us even more. I can see just how much they hate having to press their weight on the nails in their feet, but they have no choice!

That would be great but I know animation is a lot of work. It would also be fantastic to see some back story images (e.g. them being led to the site or even nailed & raised)

Not only a lot of work but a high skill level is necessary to produce convincing animation.
Animate a character being nailed to a cross+another one with a hammer hammering the nail would be quite a challenge!
One possibility is to do a slide show of this action where the timing is less important.

I always wanted to add backstory images to my creation but sadly i never find the time to do it :-(

I hope you don't mind, I liked this so much that I wanted to add some plausible soundtrack to it.
I found I had to speed it up to make the movements work with available sound fragments.
Here is the result.
