The subject of interrogation is one of my favorites.
What I find unrealistic in fiction when it comes to describing interrogation, that multiple methods of torture are mentioned, one by one, as if some sort of checklist is ticked.
In reality, based on historical and witness reports, normally two-three methods would suffice, and it's a combination of mental and physical methods.
E.g., arrest your significant other, put yourself into adjacent room. Strip your SO naked, strap to a bedframe, apply electric shocks while asking questions that are intended for you instead. Either they know something from you, or you will not be able to withstand senseless torture of your loved one.
