Though vacationing in Bora Bora, I receive an urgent request from Secretary of State Lurch to travel to Kartomga to check on the wellbeing of the American 'reporter' who had been arrested there. The US doesn't have an embassy there and I ask the secretary why doesn't he just $400M like he did to Iran. He wasn't pleased with that remark. He said he thought I might be interested in the American. Her name is Barbara Moore.

The incarceration of Barbara Moore has drawn international attention. Mademoiselle Messaline, a high level official from The Ethical Execution and Torture Society (TEETS), travels to Kartomga to visit the captive Moore. Using her substantial charms negotiation skills with the general she will be allowed to visit with Barbara.
The next morning she visits with the dangerous criminal Barbara Moore. Ms. Moore is heavily bound but this is not surprising nor unexpected as Messaline had been told Barb would be bound so for Messa's well-being. Messa performs a thorough exam of Barbara.
She finds no serious bruising or lacerations. Messa says "You seem to have been treated well and by the wetness here I can only assume you are enjoying your stay here. Can you explain this?"
"But they claim I am spy! I am reporter!" Barb cries.
"Your papers say you work for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Tree tells me that 'rag' is hardly journalism! So how are you to be executed?" Messa asks.
"I haven't even been tried yet! What makes you think I will executed?"
"Details, Barbara, details..."
