Great job Hammers, considering you work them only in Paint.
I suggest you to download The GIMP, the best alternative to Photoshop, and is completely free!. It has a relatively steep learning curve but once you get the hang of it you will be able to take advantage of the power of layers, filters and many other great functions. The Gimp is completely open source. You can add hundreds of community made add ons and plugins and if you know how to program in Python you can create your own.
There are also hundreds of tutorials in you tube, from beginner to advanced. Good luck!
