Why not?
Do you think that these pictures would be better with blood? I don't write "more arousing", I write "better". It's my own way of interpreting the subject of crucifixion. It's also my freedom as an "artist". If I began to make things against my will, I should not be honest with myself nor my viewers.

Here is what I wrote in 2015 about my conception of crucifixion in art :

It's like pinning a butterfly on a board : cruel and wonderful.

I should add even if that is far-fetched, that some of my crucifixions of women could be seen as a metaphor of the feminine condition. At least, I tried...
