There seems to be some confussion on Tommy Ramone's age. Some sources list a birthdate in 1952 & other list 1949.
Either way, he was the real driving force behind the band . He was co-founder with Johnny Ramone (John Cummings). He wrote or co-wrote many of their songs and was the bands manager & producer even after he left as drummer. He was the last surviving original member.

I think you mean they didn't lose in regulation time. They lost to Argentina on penalty kicks.
