Ha All,

One of my hobbies is board-gaming, preferably with fantasy dungeon-crawler types of games, also to collect and paint figures that can substitute the original figures of the games. The market offers more adult themed figures as well, and I have managed to hire an artist to sculpt for me some more that did not exist anywhere before – namely, nude crucifixion figures.

The artist is highly talented and open-minded, and has finished 3 types of figures so far, based on my instructions. His prototype photos are attached below. Figures are 30 mm tall from toe to the top of the head and casted of resin.

I glued the crosses onto round transparent acrylic bases with 15 mm diameter, this is my choice for my other figures also. I’ve placed “stones” onto the base as they would secure the cross. My intention was to hide the round base and to make the crosses to fit for various environments such as dungeons or nature.

I still plan to order some more different poses, and the next one will be a male variant for the sake of diversity. My long-term goal is to build a colosseum with various crucified victims in it. Due to the artist’s many projects and own business, it’s a long time to finish a new variant; these three figures required more than 2 years.

I have painted some, but I’m admittedly not a grandmaster yet (actually someone recently bullied me for my crappy paint). I work with precision but don’t really go into advanced techniques like dry brushing and such. My only eye painting effort so far is done on the girl with arms tied behind. Needs some concentration to paint something smaller than 1 mm with multiple colors. I think the result is fine.

In order to make the victims more diverse, I bought some female head sets from a different seller (photo credit: https://www.statuesqueminiatures.co.uk ) and exchanged some of the original heads.

This figure comes from a different source. Another shop offers it as a nude girl stretching in the morning or something, and I had a nasty idea how to use her. The hands are needed to bend a little for fitting on the patibulum. She is available in metal and resin, and I think the metal variant is easier to bend. Resin can be bent in a very limited extent after placing the figure into hot water. (photo credit: https://www.hfminis.co.uk )

So, about 1/50 scale?

Good grief!

Well, so do I. Don't take any notice of the bullies and trolls. I think the painting is beautiful!

Absolutely amazing, @kursdata! Thank you for showing these beautiful models to us! :clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping:
Thank you! These are namely 28 mm figures, actually around 30, so we could say they are somewhere between 1:50 and 1:56.

Actually I hope I can sell some copies in this community to regain some of my investment in them, unpainted or painted.
My idea for pricing is 15 € for an unpainted figure, including the cross, and 35 for a painted and assembled set. 40 if custom head is asked for, as it means some extra work to finish.

I hope if anyone buys an unpainted version they will shows us their efforts with a paintbrush on this thread! ;)

As both a scale modeller and a connoisseur of crux I absolutely love those figures !!
I like the idea of three different styles of 'T'-Cross hanging. Very nice !! :D  :)
I've still got an unbuilt/unpainted 28mm resin model of a woman crucified, 'X'-Cross style somewhere....
@kursdata don't worry about your painting,it's fine !!

These figures are originally religious sacrifices made for a role playing game system named Tékumel. They come in partially and completely nude variants and made of metal. I made the wall and floor of dental plaster, using molds. I used a plaster floor piece under the victims as bases. The guards are partially unpainted, sorry.
I have a few spare unpainted copies if you would need them, or I can paint and assemble them as you can see in the photos.
