oho but me think kitty should catch catfish
I don't know if any breed of dog has ever been raised primarily to catch fish,
but many certainly can - apparently Newfoundland Retrievers were used
for fishing in their original homeland.
Wow!At Christmastime, lots of things come out of the woodwork, good and not so goodlView attachment 795198
Not so terribly old LittleSiss, that cartoon "Blondie"was still running here up into the 1960's. There was Dagwood, Blondie, their two teenagers Cookie and Alexander and the ol' boss was Mr.Dithers. My favorite cartoon of that time was "Pogo"Wow!
How old are you!
Blondie was created in 1930. Here is a link to the current cartoonist's story of the strip's history:Not so terribly old LittleSiss, that cartoon "Blondie"was still running here up into the 1960's. I know! I saw them on TV with my Grandma. Not so terribly old LittleSiss, that cartoon "Blondie"was still running here up into the 1960's. There was Dagwood, Blondie, their two teenagers Cookie and Alexander and the ol' boss was Mr.Dithers. My favorite cartoon of that time was "Pogo"
"The ILS was out due to maintenance today, so we needed an alternative but conspicuous beacon to indicate the runway's centerline!"Ukrainian couple and their awesome pics. He must have a strong neck and she's got superb balance and.....well a fine figure.
That cartoon is from the internet, and ran just a few days ago. The strip is now drawn by the originator's son, if I recall. It's timeless. Julius C. Dithers (I don't know, but I bet the C stands for "Caesar"), a "sawed-off little Napolean", is everyone's "ideal" boss (and his wife is twice as tall as he is, ala Jack Welch late of General Electric). It is true that the water cooler has been replaced by coffee stations. It is not clear what Dithers and Company does, but one could easily imagine it as a hedge fund or something. I admit to being obsolescent, but my cynical sense of humor is au courrant, I like to think.Wow!
How old are you!
There is also a fishing cat (a very beautiful animal, as nice-looking as an ocelot) native to south and southeast Asia, with webbed claws. You see them in zoos on occasion. A good rule of thumb is that "if it's edible, something will exploit it". The tree kangaroo of New Guinea is also somewhat unexpected--kangaroo hind legs just aren't optimized for arboreal life, but the animal exists and does fine. Evolution works with what it has, and all that is required is that things work well enough. "Exquisite design" is for creationists.I don't know if any breed of dog has ever been raised primarily to catch fish,

Can't wait til the days get noticeably longer!Happy Winter Solstice to those in the Northern Hemisphere!!! In the US it starts at 11:19 PM EST, already here for the folks in Europe and to the East. Saturnalia is hardly over and we have another reason to party! First day of Winter for us and longest night of the year. Here's a few Winter Solstice desktop background pics 4U.
