A condemned person could last hours, if not days, on the cross. The electric chair may have been a bad way to go, but it was over in a manner of minutes. In the real world wouldn't any condemned given the choice choose electrocution? Of course in our world, we know crucifixion is best!

Actually Shevak, a few DO choose it over lethal injection. I'm told as a protest mostly to show how barbaric it is.....go figure. I think, not sure, but in Florida, no choice? I know a few states give the condemned a choice on the way to go, but most now are none at all, (no death penalty) or lethal injection only..

Perhaps they choose it over lethal injection, in some cases. I can understand that. Some might even prefer a long-drop hanging over electrocution or lethal injection. But in the real world, no is going to say, "I want to be crucified!" That was my point. Well, perhaps a derranged individual. And if he/she were a particularly nasty killer I might just say they deserve to be crucified, willingly or not!
