1) The rendering is of course first rate. The detail, facial expressions, and general incredible grittiness of the scenes is superb. One can only fantasize about where SJ will go from here in his artistic development.
Thanks for this, that's what I like to do. I try to give the most expressive face to my girls, I think it's very important to show the feelings of the character. Sometimes, other artists "over-express" their girls, creating weird face deformation, making the scene pretty ridiculous.
I'm happy you spotted this point, that's one I focus more!
2) It is an involving and entertaining story. If it tips into the realm of the irrational, I have only to turn on a news broadcast to remind myself that this is indeed the nature of the world in which we are living. Personally (STRICTLY personally) I am not a fan of the rape sequences. I developed my crux interest as a result of being bombarded with the imagery as a child. And so my interest is mainly historical cruxing, be it Roman, Persian, Greek, etc. Far fewer rape scenes and more detailing of the actual nailing, raising, and vertical placement would have been more interesting for me. But that means I will look forward to future works with greater anticipation and relish. You can go in so many directions with these stories!
I'm too a crux fan (I wouldn't be here, if not!), and I think rape is part of the torment, of the peril. I can't imagine guards not taking advantage of a cute girl, defenseless, and sentenced to death. Who would care about her, now? And of the commercial face of my story, I have to think that some people would expect a rough sex scene in my products!
3) The vernacular was suspicious at times. I doubt historical figures used words like "honey" and "bro." This is nitpicking as one only has to return to the exquisite detail of the rendering for distraction.
Well, I have to admit that I took some inspiration in "Game of Thrones", and sometimes, I think they speak a bit too much like modern people. Even the names are a bit strange: Jaime, for exemple. A bit too much "1990-2000's name",not really middle ages one. The second reason is quite simple: my english sucks, so I have to do simple text/dialogs to avoid big grammar mistakes!
That's a bit cheating, but that's why I was thinking about doing story without texts!
4) This is an incredibly prodigious work and $10 is NOT enough to charge for it!!! Likewise SJ should not have to explain to people how to unzip a file! For comparison, I refer to another great crux artist, Quoom. (BUT, he has not produced any crux story in a number of years if I am correct.) He generates a far more limited number of renders on a monthly basis at a subscription cost of 20-25 Euros a month. I imagine the number of renders SJ produces, the time consumed doing it, and then the very low price asked is not going to end up being very remunerative. And, as with all digital artists, he then has to deal with piracy. Ramon (female Christ in arts) seems to have come up with the best model, his own website with a charge per download fee. You download only what you want and pay for it. ($10 for 1 picture or half a dozen renders, in comparison to SJ's 500+!) That way you can't go on a website for 1 month, download everything the artist has ever produced, and then cancel the subscription.
I think 10$ is a psychological step you can't pass. I think that if I sell it for 12$, I will have far less sales. When I see Blackadder selling his stuff 20 bucks, that's way too much, IMO, even if he's one of the greatests 3d artists, maybe the best one. So, I prefer a less expensive price, to allow the more people to buy it. When I released that one, someone on our forum said he will wait for his paycheck to buy it. So, well, 10 bucks is 10 bucks...
So, maybe in the future, if I can increase the quality of my works, I may charge a bit more.
For the Quoom site format, the monthly suscription, I don't like this a lot. I use to be a quoom member, and that's a great site, for sure, but the problem is that it would be an obligation for me, to continue 3d stuff, to produce new content every week. And 25$ is a heavy price, I'm not sure I would have a lot of suscriptions. The second problem is that a lot of people would come, suscribe for a month, download all, and go away. And all my stuff for 25 bucks, well, I would be really well fucked! So, I think that having no website, beoing exclusive to Reanderotica, allowing me a good visibility all over the internet, is the best solution for me. I don't have to spend time on the website itself, and I can focus on my stories, and producing more and more new stuff!
But you're right on another point: some artists sell 10$ a 20-30 pictures series, that's really expensive!!
This is a niche market you are supplying SJ and I just want to make sure you are encouraged to continue producing. I know others have quickly abandoned the scene. I hope you will continue to cater to us with future, fantastic work.
For now, I don't have planned to stop! Even it takes a lot of time, for sure, I love what I do, and if you people enjoys it too, that's a good motivation to continue this story!!
By the way, feel free to give me advices or wishes for the next chapters of the Andaroos Saga. I have planned a few more chapters, and already know what wil happen, but if you have some good ideas to add, I may have a look!
