Some Sketches And Studies

Thank you very much. I'm glad you like the "primitive" style of these works.
My more recent drawings (they will come soon) are much more full of details and shades, but they have lost something... they are not as "strong" and expressive as these sketched works.
I'm still searching a satisfactory style... maybe you all can help me about this!
The secret of minimal drawing I would guess, is that it fools the brain by a subtle use of outlines and shadow. The brain sees a shadow and assumes there must be a solid object to cause it so we "see" something that simply isn't there. A "satisfactory" style is the one you are happiest with at the moment.....but I imagine all artists, especially singers like to try a different style from time to time.

Look at sketches from "Gustav KLIMT" you'll surely find some on internet, hopely it inspires you. Good luck and go on!

Klimt (mainly his early style) is one of my inspirations for my "normal" drawings.

Good drawings but have you sometimes thought to put them in scene, crucifixion by example ...?;)

They will come.
As Sherazade teaches, when you get the audience's attention, you must let them in waiting for a while...
(...or maybe I'm lazy and I've not yet scanned and edited the drawings)

stark, haunting imagery -
you're bringing something very new and vivid to our Forums,
thanks Glenarvon

And finally, after all those experiments, I'm nearly to show you some complete works...
So, let me introduce you Nala and Francesca, who will be my characters in these next drawings.

What will happen to them?
Well... you must wait some days...
