LOVE that second one, Andyman! I wish more artists would depict this stage of the process.Three stills from "The (end of) life of Veronica".

Perhaps the resemblance to Golgotha is the only reason. But I am aware that I am extremely conservative, so I love to return to the same themes repeatedly. Is there any reason why your Romans are always nailing women in sets of three?
It's a fundamental principle of art, isn't it? The "rule of three"?Is there any reason why your Romans are always nailing women in sets of three?
I hope you do more comics! Crucifixion is my favorite punchlineAnd now few light stories for the comix strips lovers.

Thanks, Andy. Though I have to say to me there's something special about the previous one, the way she kneels, legs spread to shoulder-width, head bowed, arms already hauled up, about to experience something unimaginably painful, bracing herself, trying to come to terms with it before it consumes her. I feel like that moment could be explored as endlessly as the actual hanging has been. (Hint, hint)
Those bitches better appreciate what their older sis is doing for them. Hell, it's probably lucky they're not crucified with her! Hope they at least visit her as she hangs to show their appreciation! But they'll probably just start arguing over which nail each of them gets.
