Great series! The third image showing her just enduring horrific agonies long hours after being crucified and with endless hours to go before death gets to me the most.

These are some of my favorites, Andyman. Perhaps it's the positioning of her body, that tattered loincloth or her windswept hair. It all combines for stunningly beautiful image.

Catherine after ten hours still was able to resist the upcoming death dancing on her cross while her daughter Elisabeth, exhausted and despairing, could only hang on her pierced wrists with the thick nail pressed painfully into her crotch.

If it's possible to make the suppedaneum (a footrest) in the form of a something like a gabled roof, fixed vertical to the stipes, it will secure not only longer but much more humiliating agony for the wretched slaves and criminals... No possibility to save the slightest decency nor shyness...

Really love the idea of the new footrest. I could imagine the humiliation even more with a slim loincloth because it would increase the tension as to when it would be cut off.
