I enjoy the girl’s hairstyle! I picture her tossing her head, trying to get her braids to both fall just right to cover her nipples and offer her some shred of modesty.

Before one of those onlookers (hopefully the woman!) swats her hair away from her breasts, of course!

Also, her feet are so close to the ground! So close, but she’ll never touch it again while alive.

In the background here, you can see that an issue with a fixed cornu is that pulling the body off the cornu looks like it would require getting quite close and personal with the corpse. For a girl with a body like hers, I could handle dealing with the...bodily results of a crucifixion while pulling her ass away from the spike that tormented her for hours. Most victims wouldn’t be pretty girls, I expect.

Andy, your little details are always the best part of your sketches.

Being crucified on a very low cross was perhaps less spectacular but equally painful and maybe even more ashaming. It is like standing in the nude between people on the street and dying with pain, hunger and thirst. Vulnerable, exposed and defenceless as much as possible.
