I always did like the concept of the "grid" for crucifixions. Somehow the "mass production" concept made it more humiliating like "nothing personal it's just my job."

Which reminds me of the guys in Yusebby's drawings. They don’t grin or gloat or get off on inflicting further torture on their victims. With few exceptions they’re just working stiffs, doing another job.
