It was getting near the day women would be sentenced. Since the Utah Territory was severely underfunded Judge Admi would send one of the prisoners out to Tree’s ranch for him to use, hoping Tree would forget to bill for his ‘services’.
As the sun rose L’ilSiss watched the light of the rising sun pool on his hardwood floor. Tree lit about the 800th smoke of the night and opened his fourth gallon of whiskey. Pandemonium broke out in the courtroom as protestations where screamed at the judge. Admi banged the gavel and called for order which was eventually restored. He glared across the courtroom and said “Another outburst and I will clear the courtroom. I was just seeing if you were paying attention. No, the ladies are indeed sentenced to death but will be marched across town to the railroad station where they will be nailed to crosses, raised and hang crucified until they are dead. Tree claims they should all last a couple of days so it should be a pretty good show. Court is adjourned.
“Oh, a side matter… Rooms in my…umm… the hotel that overlook the crucifixion site will be charging ‘special events’ rates with a three night minimum. Also to defray the expense of executing the wenches… I mean condemned prisoners tours of the jail and their sleeping arrangements will be a dollar per person. If you wish to touch the condemned women it will $5 dollars for five minutes per woman that you cop a feel of. For a bargain of $25 you can have intercourse with one of the women.
