Adultery and homosexual sex with be punished with death by stoning. It's part of a series new laws over the last several years based on Sharia law.

It's the middle of the day--someone should have noticed if it started in the nave. Since the whole roof seems to be heavily engaged, it might be that the fire began up in the roof area where it wasn't likely to be noticed until it was well underway.
