how is it possible Redheaded Conny full dressed:D

you forgot C for Crucem damnata ;):D

And C for Crucifigenda (being crucified)

Time for a little Latin lesson!

Hansi - I said
C for Condemned
C for Crux
Crux is the nominative (subject case), crucem is the accusative (object case, as in ad crucem "to the Cross"),
and damnata = Condemned.

Chelior - "being crucified" is a passive present participle which you don't get in Latin,
you can only use an indicative form like crucifigitur "she/he/it's being crucified".
Still, Crucifigenda would be a very appropriate brand, as it's the feminine gerundive, "she who is to be crucified"

= Eulalia!

But I didnt dare mention the English C word,
nor the part of my body where it has to be branded!

Did you spot the sword Eulalia?

Hm, where did that come from?

I should have remembered D H Lawrence's warning to women who try to break free

woman who rode away.jpg

they end up on the Sacrificial Altar!

Yes'm, Connie, Mel, Julie and all of my crux friends! In mind and heart I've always been here, but it's so good to actaully be here and read the comments of all of you once again and see your new projects!

Last night I treated myself to viewings of "Passion of Mary Catherine" and "Garden Party," the latter brings back so many great memories working day by day with Mel on it. The real fun was getting the images from Mel and doing serious brain strain trying to figure out exactly how we would use them and then trying to incorporate Mel's poetic narrative and storyline into what I was trying to achieve.

We worked on it during the winter and I can remember trudging through the snow on my evening walk trying to figure something out and spurtiing out poetic lines as I left that long trail of footprints in the snow. If one were to follow that trail they would see where my steps widened and my walking pace accelerated as I rushed back to my little abode with new ideas in my head!

Mel selected the two musical scores in the movie and when I hear them again after many months, I do have chills and tears of emotion! What a wonderful time that was!

It is so good to be back here and see you as busy as ever at crux projects!
