If Sydney Sweeney stared at me that way and invited me over to her house I'd lose control lol
Dakota Johnson looked incredible at the premiere though - If only she had dressed like this in the movie then maybe - just maybe, this trashfire just might have had a chance of making some money :)

At least the movie isn't overtly woke, which is a very welcome change for the better these days, but unfortunately it's still a steaming pile of dogshit that makes you wonder what the fuck Sony was thinking (or smoking) when they greenlit this disaster :(

Dakota, on the hand, is welcome on my red carpet any time she likes :p

As for Sydney Sweeny, she seems to have made an impression on at least one moviegoer who got himself thrown out of a cinema because he was caught wanking over her during the film :D

Most likely, many will not agree with me, but I still consider comic book adaptations to be a dead-end branch of the evolution of cinema) Well, seriously, what kind of crazy conveyor belt is this?
I'm not good at comics, that's true. But I get the impression that for comic book adaptations they choose the simplest, or better yet, the most primitive plots. People, of course, love to consume all kinds of garbage, which has always depressed me. But if this continues in the same volume, even the most undemanding people will develop an aversion to such products.
In my opinion, in comparison with this, for example, film adaptations of video games in recent years have confidently raised the quality bar. Although here I always have something to complain about.

Sounds like a subject matter issue, rather than a source issue. Most of the comic based movies have been superhero films (many of which appear to feature Ben Affleck with a broomstick up his ass). But that's a story/subject problem. I agree that many of the game-based movies have been better. But all of this just serves as an example of the fact that a simple game plot, a comic book, or a short story are better sources for movies than novels. Blade Runner, for example started as a short story. But the biggest problem in Hollywood is risk aversion - nobody wants to risk on a really new movie when, to make money, you know it's a sure thing if you get that broomstick and dress Ben in a Batman suit.

He was also drunk majority of the time as batman too. How he still managed to be a decent one is impressive

A few days ago, I was choosing a bottle of white wine. Agony of choice, as usual. Then : the spur moment
"Why not try a Riesling", with @Barbaria1 's preferred wine variety in mind.
Opened it today : not bad! Barb has a good taste! ;)
:drink:

Riesling is my "go-to" Summer white wine variety. Great with a barbecue on the patio, nicely chilled.
Recognition of my impeccable taste for good wine is nice! :clap2:

Did anyone in the UK catch that BBC documentary about a real life Crucifixion that occured in 3rd Century AD Cambridgeshire ??
To cut a long story short,a skeleton was uncovered with a nail through a heel bone.
Irretrievable evidence of a Crucifixion.
( just like the one found,in Israel, previously..)
It's currently on BBC i player.
"The Cambridgeshire Crucifixion" It's called.

Yes, I did see it. It was well done. The unusual thing about that crucifixion was that the victim was accorded a proper burial.

People were crucified near Cambridge? Possibly lazy students who haunted the university professors' wine cellar?

I also saw the BBC Player post.
